As I shared with you in my story, I truly believe food can be thy medicine instead of prescription drugs (because I’ve done it!)  My passion is to support you on your journey to achieve vibrant health as I have!

For several years now, I have posted numerous, simple, healthy plant-based recipes on my website for YOU for FREE! I will continue to add these healthy recipes and holistic tips for natural health…. Because I love to share tried and true ideas that could help you live a healthier life!  

NOW, I would like to invite you to contribute to a new Ebook I am working on, Simply Healthy Salads. I get so many requests for new and innovative salad and salad dressing recipes that are healthy, yet taste delicious! Let’s face it, you can only eat so much lettuce! I would love to hear what tasty ingredients you add to salads and dressings to keep those taste buds tantalized!!

Here’s how it works:

Submit your favorite original plant-based salad and/or salad dressing recipe below. Your recipe will be posted on this site and you’ll be entered to win the book!

I’m particularly interested in unique creations that are delicious, yet fairly simple to make.  

So get in the kitchen and whip up your favorite savory salad!  Make it simple, make it healthy.  We are all busy, so please avoid recipes that require hours of prep or contain numerous unfamiliar or hard to find ingredients! KEEP IT Simple, Silly!

 Sometimes a simple addition (like toasted pumpkin seeds) can turn a blah salad into YOWZA!!  Share unique, special ingredients that set your recipe apart from a traditional, boring salad! Also, in many areas gardens are in full bloom! Be sure to include your garden fresh ingredients (think….zucchini, squash, heirloom tomatoes, etc.)!  

Ohhhh….just think about all of those delicious recipes that will be at your fingertips, JUST-IN-TIME for Summer!

 

Here are some contest guidelines & considerations:

  • Recipes must be plant-based (AKA vegetarian and able to adapt for Vegan). Ex.- if your recipe includes cheese, please provide an alternative ingredient that would be dairy/animal-free.
  • Be sure to include all ingredients with amounts, as well as directions/steps. Do not abbreviate (i.e., write out tablespoon, etc.) 
  • Include a high quality photo(s) of your finished creation.
  • Think beyond iceburg…(arugula, spinach, & kale ….Oh yeah!)
  • Colorful salads are highly appealing. We EAT with our eyes first! I believe that when food looks good, it always tastes good too! (beautiful bell peppers, red cabbage, beets, etc. make marvelous presentations!) 
  • You agree to having your recipe posted on this website and you give permission to B Simply Healthy to include your recipe in the Ebook (if chosen), along with an original photo (taken by you).
  • You understand that if your recipe is selected, you will not receive any royalties from sales of the book.
  • HOWEVER…. You may also include a website or blog with your recipe. If your recipe is selected, I will also include the URL to your site, along with your name and recipe in the book. HOW COOL IS THAT??? What an amazing FREE way to promote yourself if you are in the health and wellness field, or other area related to holistically healing the mind-body-spirit! (All sites will be previewed and approved first).
