I love to cook. I find it nourishing for my body, mind, and spirit. As a certified Reiki practitioner, I also believe in the power of energy healing. I infuse the food I am preparing with energy and love, which goes back into my body when I eat it. I think that cooking is one of the most loving things that you can do for your health and well being. When I prepare meals using fresh, organic, whole foods, I know that I am receiving nourishment on many levels.

Unfortunately, because we live such busy lives, it is often difficult to find the time to prepare healthy home-cooked meals. Many people eat a lot of their meals out or stop at fast food restaurants on their way home from work. Sound familiar? It doesn't have to be that way. Even if your culinary skills have a lot to be desired, you can still follow the simple healthy recipes on this site, and with a little planning, you can make delicious, healthy meals that will be nourishing for you and your loved ones. You can start by incorporating these 7 simple steps now!

I provide several variations for many of the recipes, so you will be equipped with an abundance of possibilities for healthy meals that suit your needs. Whether you are an omnivore, vegetarian, or vegan, you will find a delicious recipe that can be adapted for you! I do not follow one specific diet. So, the ideas for these recipes come from my synthesis of research about health and wellness, various natural health books and cookbooks, and my personal experiences with what tastes great and makes me feel good.

One thing that I recommend you do right away, is to begin by swapping your breakfast, or lack of, for a simply healthy smoothie. I drink a green smoothie every morning. It is so delicious and so satisfying. It will give you a lot of energy to start the day and the high amount of fiber will keep you full for hours! Try it for one week and see how you feel. I guarantee that you will notice a difference in how you look and feel almost immediately. That will motivate you to make healthier choices for your other meals as well.
