Hemp Seed Salad

Renew your body this spring with a healthy alkalizing salad. This salad is quick and easy to make. This is a super healthy salad recipe with sprouts and avocado. The hemp seeds provide a healthy source of protein!

Ingredients: Use organic ingredients whenever possible!

  • Handful of mixed greens
  • 1/4 orange or red pepper, chopped
  • Small bunch of alfalfa sprouts
  • 1/4 avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 5 black olives, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. hemp seeds
  • Simple vinaigrette dressing- (1 tsp. Dijon mustard, 1 minced fresh garlic, 3 tbsp. vinegar, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper and 1/2 cup olive oil)
  • Directions:

    1. Prepare vinaigrette (whisk ingredients together and set aside).
    2. Wash salad greens and place in a bowl.
    3. Chop pepper, olives and avocado. Add to the top of salad greens.
    4. Drizzle with 1 tbsp. dressing and toss.
    5. Sprinkle with hemp seeds and sprouts.
    6. Serve and enjoy!

    * Optional: you could also add sliced, green onions!
