Recipe Contest

There is a global movement called, Meatless Monday, that is rapidly spreading. For just one day a week, millions of people have committed to eating meat-free meals.

Why?- If your diet consists of eating meat on a daily basis, this is one small change you could make each week that’s good for you and good for the environment! People have many different reasons why they participate, whether it’s ethical, or to decrease saturated fats and cholesterol intake. When you add more plants to your diet, it’s going to be good for your health!

You can experience the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle just by going meat-free one day a week! Start out slowly, by eating one completely plant-based meal per week. Hopefully you will try some amazing meals that you wouldn’t typically think of making. We would like you to share them!

Sue from MA was the winner of the recipe contest! Congratulations! She received a B Simply Healthy tote bag along with the new book, Forks Over Knives. The book is amazing! It has over 125 delicious, simple plant-based recipes. The documentary was compelling and life-changing. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend you do! I think it’s even available through Netflix now.
