Top 3 Pesto Recipes


Hello!

I hope you all have been enjoying this beautiful summer. Unfortunately, it will be coming to an end before we know it.

For some of us, that means certain herbs, fruits and vegetables will not be as abundant as they have been....like basil!

I really started a love affair with pesto this year! Yes, I said it! I have always liked it, but now absolutely I LOVE IT! Pesto is one of my absolute favorite sauces to make because it is so delicious and it's very versatile. You can add it to pasta, vegetables, sandwiches and more!

I have experimented making many different pesto recipes. But, I have found one that is my new favorite- Brazil Nut Basil Pesto. This is a delicious dairy-free pesto that you can add to pasta or vegetables for a quick healthy meal. I switched it up by adding Nutritional yeast instead of parmesan and brazil nuts instead of pine nuts. Combined with fresh basil leaves, rich olive oil and garlic it makes delicious sauce.
